Fanexpo 2009 was this weekend, hooray.

Due to lack of time, funding and motivation I chose to rewear my Akihiko costume (I'm glad I did, I met a really cute Aigis) and finished Black*Star for the Saturday.

I have mixed feelings about Fanexpo, I've skipped out on it the past year or two but decided to take a gamble on making an appearance this year. I was only at the con a total of about twelve hours and didn't bother to drag my butt there on Sunday, but the time I did spend there was alright.

The highlight of Fanexpo was probably watching the masquerade (some random person gave me two masquerade passes and I bummed Kano in without one, hooray for not spending money. No way in hell could I afford the pass for the con, I wouldn't have been able to make if it wasn't 15 minutes from my apartment) I don't normally watch masquerades, I prefer to perform most of the time but it was fun and relaxing to sit in the audience for once. I sat beside a really hot Blood Elf, she was hilarious and it turns out we know a lot of the same people.

I chatted with quite a few people at the con and exchanged DA's, so I resolve to try and use this thing and post more often - I have a ton of pictures I still need to upload. Bawwwwwwww.
